By the Numbers: The Twins

This is a segment I have been thinking of doing for a few months, but never have gotten around to it even though K thought it'd be a pretty fun and clever recurring post. Basically, I use numbers to talk about what I see/do/encounter over a period of time or during certain events. Yeah, it sounds better in my head and hopefully spelled out below than I've described it and hopefully, it actually happens again.

Anyways, obviously I/we've been busy with Thing 1 and Thing 2. Yes, I can call them that b/c I change their diapers, fund their college savings account, and they have the shirts that say that exact thing (picture to come, eventually when both are clean for a period to necessitate a photo op.

1, as in 1 month. BL and PJ will be one month old next week. Crazy! Time flies, yet it certainly feels like they have been keeping me busy for longer!
2, as in 2 babies, 2 mouths, 2 breasts, and 2 double headed electric breast pumps. You haven't lived until you've seen you wife use one of those things!
3, as in 3 hours. The maximum number of consecutive hours of sleep we have been able to have at any one time since Dec 13. But yes, it is slowly getting better.
5, as in 5 times the boy has peed like a fountain on me while changing him. Often, this occurs around 3am for added amusement and use of my "French".
8, as in 8 pounds. Last week both were closing in on the 8lb mark quite quickly. The wife could feed an army with those things!
10, as in 10 diaper changes. That is the minimum number of changes each one needs per day, which means,
20, as in 20 diapers per day we go through with the two, which means,
340 total diaper changes since we brought them home from the hospital about three weeks ago.

As you can see, it is a lot of eating and diaper changes here going on. Speaking of, the one is freaking out. Gotta go, will post again soon!

Are you guys back in the US or were your kids born in Africa? Congratulations despite all the diaper changes.
